Junior Software Developer

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experienced in C# and .NET framework skills. VB.NET experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Experience with SQL Server, creating normalized database structures and database objects, such as tables, functions, stored procedures, etc.
  • Experience with some UI technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Windows Forms or WPF experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in object-oriented design, algorithms, and software design in general.        

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert C# and .NET framework skills.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and HTTP utilizing WCF.
  • Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in object-oriented design, algorithms, and software design in general.
  • Experienced with JSON and XML.
  • Test-driven development experience (such as Visual Studio Unit Testing).
  • Experience with N-tier architectures (such as CSLA).
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in technical discipline from a recognized institution (in lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience).
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Organized and patient.
  • Demonstrates initiative and is resourceful.
  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic and team oriented.
  • Ability to asses, identify and address problems.
