Reporting Manager: Customer Relations Manager

The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator will be to strategically support the execution of Trans Plus’ projects that may consist of New Customer Implementations, Modules, Software Enhancements and Defects.  The Project Coordinator will define the project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and customer stakeholders.  The Project Coordinator will own the relationship between the stakeholder (internal or external customer) and Trans Plus from the beginning of project through to the successful project implementation.  Excelling with Trans Plus means being motivated from within, working well with others and being passionate about what you do and why you do it.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations

  • Creations and Coordination of Trans Plus projects.  This includes but is not limited to:Creating projects in the CRM and assigning project deliverables
    • Support and communicate with the Management Team on prioritization of projects
    • Establishing timelines with the Management Team for projects and their respective deliverable
    • Monitoring that deliverables are being met and proactively reporting updates to the stakeholde
    • Escalate issues with the Customer Relations Manager as needed for prompt resolution
  • Support our Business Analyst (BA) by obtaining details on BA Cases/Projects, and to coordinate and deliver communication to Customers
  • Coordinate the complete implementation process of Trans Plus’ core software products for new and existing Customers.  This includes but is not limited to:
    • Work with Training Coordinator and IT Specialist to gather requirements from Customers regarding the technical and business environment (server configurations and operating systems, proprietary applications, and standard operating procedures
    • Determine the project scope
    • Coordinate and communicate the software installation for new Customer with IT Specialist
    • Properly prepare Customer for Go-Live requirements and work with Training Coordinator for Customer Training plans.
  • Maintain regular contact with the stakeholder to review the project scope and ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is upheld
  • Liaise between stakeholder and the appropriate Trans Plus employee/team to ensure stakeholder expectations are met. 
  • Proactively lead changes in the project scope, identify potential risks
  • Embrace a collaborative, teamwork approach to facilitate efficiencies between the sales and operations groups at Trans Plus
  • Support the Customer Relations Manager to ensure documentation of processes are current and up to date
  • Other tasks as assigned by Customer Relations Manager

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years coordinating and implementing projects
  • Past experience in full life cycle project management
  • Ability to multitask and manage several concurrent projects is essential
  • Ambitious, career oriented, energetic, self-motivated, dedicated, and results driven defines your character
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Office and Visio
  • Preference given to candidates with any industry or trade certifications
  • University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Transportation Logistics, Supply Management considered a definite asset
